Produsen elektronik asal Taiwan kembali berhubungan dengan Intel dengan mengeluarkan produk terbarunya kali ini memperkenalkan prosesor terbarunya yang berbasis arsitektur Coffee Lake secara global.
Prosesor Coffee Lake dibentuk menurut teknologi manufaktur 14 nanometer versi mutakhir yang digadang-gadang mengatakan performa sampai 45 persen lebih tinggi dibanding generasi sebelumnya dalam banyak sekali skenario penggunaan.
ASUS langsung menghadirkan laptop bertenaga yang sudah diperkuat oleh prosesor Intel Coffee Lake yang diberi nama ASUS TUF Gaming FX504, laptop gaming seri mainstream generasi terbaru, dan ROG Zephyrus M GM501, laptop gaming seri enthusiast. Kedua laptop tersebut merupakan laptop pertama di dunia yang mengimplementasikan Intel Coffee Lake.
ASUS TUF (The Ultimate Force) Gaming FX504 merupakan laptop seri pertama dari TUF Gaming (sebelumnya FX Gaming) dan merupakan yang pertama hadir dengan Intel 8th generation Intel Core i7-8750H.
Laptop gaming ini diperkuat grafis Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti yang mendukung penuh Microsoft DirectX 12. Dengan chassis tipis dan berat total hanya 2,3Kg, FX504 mengatakan kombinasi perfoma dan portabilitas yang cocok untuk multi-tasking on the go, entertainment dan tentunya gaming.
